Warrenton Parks Alliance is working with the City of Warrenton to revitalize the aging recreational courts at Warrenton Community Park. Our vision is to replace the current layout of two basketball courts and two tennis courts with a more modern, community-focused design: one basketball court, one tennis court, and four dedicated pickleball courts.
This upgrade will improve safety, accessibility, and aesthetics while meeting today’s recreational trends—particularly the growing demand for pickleball—ensuring the space serves residents of all ages.
We’ve asked the City to assess the site, develop cost estimates, and guide us on permitting and bidding. Once bids are received, we anticipate leading a community fundraising campaign to cover any costs beyond the City’s budget. This will likely include pursuing grants, sponsorships, in-kind donations, and local fundraising events.
Our shared goal is a vibrant, multi-generational recreation space that encourages active lifestyles, fosters community pride, and makes better use of one of Warrenton’s most valued public assets.
